Páscoa - Pasen - Easter (Po - Nl - En)

Páscoa: o Senhor ressuscitou verdadeiramente! Como é que esta Boa Nova fique viva na minha vida? Isto acontece apenas quando o meu pensamento muda; quando a minha mente se renova, a partir de agora. Não mais é a morte, a doença, o maligno, que decide a verdade sobre o mundo e o meu destino. Mas, a Verdade e a Vida, quer dizer: Jesus, o Filho de Deus decidiu que Ele reina, eternamente. "Tragada foi a morte pela vitória. Onde está, ó morte, a tua vitória? Onde está o morte, o teu aguilhão? ... Graças a Deus, que nos dá a vitória por intermédio de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo." (1 Cor.15,54b-57) Amém.
Gosto muito das cores e da simplicidade destas duas imagens. Crer em Deus e em Jesus exige e leva a tal simplicidade.

Pasen: de Heer is echt opgestaan uit de dood! Hoe blijft die waarheid levend in mijn leven? Dat gebeurt alleen als mijn gedachten veranderen, als m'n denken zich vernieuwt, vanaf nu. Het is niet meer sterven, ziekte of de boze, die de waarheid bepalen over de wereld en mijn bestemming. Maar de Waarheid en het Leven, dat is: Jezus, de Zoon van God heeft bepaald dat Hij regeert, voor altijd. "De dood is opgeslokt en overwonnen. Dood, waar is je overwinning? Dood, waar is je angel? ... Laten we God danken, die ons door Jezus Christus, onze Heer, de overwinning geeft". (1 Kor. 15,54b-57) Amen.
Ik houd van de kleuren en de eenvoud van deze twee platen. Geloven in God en Jezus vereist en leidt tot zulke duidelijkheid.

Easter: The Lord has risen indeed! But how will this truth stay alive in my life? That only occurs, if my thoughts change and my mind is renewed, from now on. It is not death, or illness or the evil one which decides the truth concerning the world or my destination. But the Truth and the Life, that means: Jesus, the Son of God has decided that He reigns, for ever. "Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy victory? O death, where is thy sting? ... Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ". (1 Corinth.15,54b-57) Amen.
I love the colours and the simplicity of these two images. To believe in God and Jesus, requires and produces this kind of simplicity.
